What to Expect
As a dog mum, I know how much our dogs mean, and how much love and joy they bring, so capturing all the things you love about them is what my photography experience is all about.
Whether your dog is a cute, wiggly puppy or a gorgeous senior, my sessions cater for all ages, stages and dog breeds. If you are looking for relaxed, or candid portraits, action and adventure, moments of craziness, or tenderness and affection, you have come to the right photographer.
If you're not sure where you would like your photos taken, I can provide you with a copy of my Location Guide and support you in picking the perfect spot to help your vision come to life. Depending on your chosen location (and season), my session times usually start before sunrise or before sunset, as this is when the true magic of creating beautify images are made.
I know some dog parents can be camera shy, so I have lots of fun and clever techniques in capturing your your love, devotion and connection without being in the full image. However, if you would like to be in some or all of the images then you are most welcome. If you're not sure on what to wear or how to prepare for your session, I have you covered, and will provide you with my "What to Wear Guide", to help you and your family look your best next to your fur baby.
How it Works
,Step 1. Inquiry and Planning
After receiving your inquiry form, I contact you to discuss any questions you may have. Together we complete a questionnaire to help identify your vision and if this is the right photography experience for you. We then book a Pre-Consultation session if you wish to proceed.
During your pre-consultation session, we will explore your dogs behaviours, personality and session requirements to ensure the experience is positive, safe and enjoyed by all We will discuss your preferred locations, start planning the shoot you have been dreaming about, and discuss the next steps of bringing your vision to life.
Your non refundable booking fee is payable at the time of securing your session date during your pre-consultation session. .
Step 2. Day of the Shoot
At least two weeks prior to the shoot, I contact you too to finalise any outstanding details. I will send you're "How to Prepare for Your Shoot Guide" and a "What to Wear Guide" to help ease any stresses and prepare for the big day.
On the day of your session, we meet at your chosen location, I spend time getting to know you and your gorgeous dog better. We make sure your dog is happy and comfortable in their new environment. Then we let the fun begin. This is where we turn those beautiful, fun, crazy, engaging and or natural moments into memories that last a lifetime. I help provide gentle guidance and instruction throughout the session, so your and your dog look your best.
Throughout the session, I use lots treats to reward your dog and help encourage positive behaviours . I make sure you fur baby has lots of play and rest breaks in between shots to keep to dog happy, relaxed and engaged.
Step 3. Selecting your Images & Artwork
Its the day you have been eagerly waiting for! It's the day we link up via zoom, and I show you your stunning gallery of images of your beautiful fur baby . This is your moment to select your curated images and gorgeous artwork. After receiving your final selection and payment, your images and artwork will be processed and delivered to you within 4-6 weeks.
