Your pet photography experience is so much more than taking photos, it’s time spent with your best friend.
The one who fills your life with joy, love, and laughter.
It’s a moment to pause, connect, and celebrate the bond you share.
Together, we’ll capture their true personality, their quirks, their beauty
and most of all, the love between you.
My hope is that every time you look at your images,
they bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart
creating memories you’ll treasure forever.
As a fellow dog mum, I understand just how much our pets mean to us and the unconditional love, the joy, the laughter they bring into our lives. That’s why my photography sessions are all about capturing everything you love about them.
Whether your dog is a playful pup or a wise and wonderful senior, my sessions are tailored for all ages, stages, and breeds. From relaxed and candid portraits to energetic action shots, adventurous moments, or sweet, tender connections, you’re in the right place.
Not sure where you’d like your photos taken? No problem! I’ll provide you with my Location Guide and help you choose the perfect spot to bring your vision to life. Depending on the location and season, sessions typically take place just after sunrise or just before sunset when the light is at its most magical.
Worried about being camera shy? Many of my clients are! I’ve got lots of fun, natural ways to capture your connection without you needing to be fully in the frame unless, of course, you’d like to be. Whether you want to be in a few images, all of them, or none at all, it’s entirely up to you.
And if you're wondering what to wear or how to prepare, I’ve got you covered. I’ll send you my What to Wear Guide to help you and your family look and feel your best alongside your beloved pet.
After receiving your inquiry form, I contact you to discuss any questions you may have. Together we complete a questionnaire to help identify your vision and if this is the right photography experience for you. We then book a consultation session if you wish to proceed.
During your consultation session, we will explore your dogs behaviours, personality and session requirements to ensure the experience is positive, safe and enjoyed by all. We discuss your preferred locations, dates, times, and who will be photographed. We start planning the shoot you have been dreaming about, and the next steps required to bring your vision to life.
Your non refundable booking fee is payable at the time of securing your session date during your consultation session.
At least two weeks prior to the shoot, I contact you to finalise any outstanding details. I will send you're "How to Prepare for Your Shoot Guide" and a "What to Wear Guide" to help ease any stresses and prepare for the big day.
On the day of your session, we meet at your chosen location, I spend time getting to know you and your gorgeous dog better. We make sure your dog is happy and comfortable in their new environment and ok with all the camera gear. Then we let the fun begin. This is where we turn those beautiful, fun, crazy, engaging and or natural moments into memories that last a lifetime. I help provide gentle guidance and instruction throughout the session, so you and your dog look your best.
Throughout the session, I use lots of treats to reward your dog and help encourage positive behaviours. I make sure your fur baby has lots of play and rest breaks in-between shots to keep to your dog happy, relaxed and engaged. After all it's their big day too.
It's the day you have been eagerly waiting for! It's the day we link up via zoom or in person, and I show you your stunning gallery of images of your beautiful fur baby. This is your moment to select your curated images and gorgeous fine art prints and artwork. After receiving your final selection and payment, your images and artwork will be processed and delivered to you within 4-6 weeks.
Does my dog need to be well behaved?
A.To get the best out of your session, it does help if you dog understands basic commands such as sit and stay. However, it's not a requirement, and I have worked with many dogs that don't know these commands. I use lots of positive reinforcement to help with their behaviour which has assisted in creating beautiful images.
What if my dog can't be off its leash?
A.Not all dogs can be off leash for many reasons and that's ok. I provide lots of instruction during the shoot to help owners manage the their dogs leash, which allows me to remove the leash during the editing phase.
What if my dog is fearful or reactive?
A.I have worked with reactive and fearful dogs many times, however I will explore your dogs needs during your consultation session to ensure we pick the right location. My goal is to provide you and your dog a positive and stress free experience as much as possible.
Do you photograph other animals?
A.While my speciality is dogs and horses, I also photograph cats. Should you have another animal you would photographed please contact me directly so we can discuss this.
Where are your horse sessions held?
A.Sessions are tailored to meet the style of shoot you're desiring. Most sessions are held on location of the horse owner, or can be arranged at a desired location such as the beach or country.
